The discovery of this deposit was the result of careful work carried out by specialists in geology and geophysics, where in the exploratory study the geophysics of 60 m deep identified clay in all extension, the rotary sounding with holes of 20 m of depth and the chemical analyzes confirmed the ore body with ion adsorption clay layer containing REE. In the South I pit, where this last work was carried out, the holes present rare earth oxide contents above 1000 ppm, with a predominance of light rare earths, mainly Nd, confirming the expressive concentrations of rare earth minerals in the surveyed areas. The potential is great, since the depth of the deposit remains open, with a strong indication of expansion and resizing of the deposit found.
